- Email address (Google or Apple OAuth login)
- Nickname (OAuth profile name or user input)

- Product scan images (photos uploaded by the user)
- Review content (ratings, text, taste tags)
- Firebase Installation ID
- Usage logs, crash/error reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
- Device information, OS version, IP address
Optional Data
- User-uploaded product image for thumbnail/representation
The Application does not collect precise location data.
2. Purpose of Data Collection
- User account and authentication management
- Product scanning, OCR text recognition, and translation features
- Product search, recommendations, category rankings
- Community operation (displaying product reviews and photos to other users)
- Service improvement, analytics, crash/error analysis, fraud prevention
- Use of user-uploaded product photos as representative images when no official image is available
User-uploaded product photos may be displayed to other users within the app.
3. User-Generated Content (UGC)
- Users retain all copyrights to photos and review content they upload.
- By uploading content, users grant PonPick a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, reproduce, display, and adapt the content only for service operation, product recognition, and improvement.
- Some scan photos may be selected as a representative product thumbnail. Users may request removal at any time, and the company will remove it within 7 days.
- Content that infringes third-party rights or violates law may be removed without notice.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Personal data is kept only as long as required for its intended purpose or by law.
- When users delete their accounts, the following are deleted immediately: email, nickname, OAuth info, personal scan history and images, Firebase Installation ID.
- Reviews and ratings may be retained in an anonymized form to maintain service accuracy and product trustworthiness.
- Representative images remain anonymous and may be retained unless removal is requested.
Users may request data deletion via the in-app "Delete Account" function or email: ponpickkonpick@gmail.com
5. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party processors for essential functionality:
- Google Firebase (authentication, DB, analytics, crash reports)
- Google ML Kit / Google Cloud Vision (OCR text recognition)
- Naver Papago API (Japanese ↔ Korean translation)
- Google Sign In / Apple Sign In (OAuth authentication)
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
6. Cross-Border Data Transfer
Some data may be stored or processed on servers located outside your country.

The Service does not knowingly collect data from children under age 14.

- Log and backup safeguards
10. Changes to This Policy
You will be notified via in-app notice or email at least 7 days prior to significant changes.
